Is the free plan really free?
Yes. The first seat of every workspace is free for good, with every feature and 100 AI credits a month. No card is needed to start.
You only pay once you bring other people into the workspace, or if you buy extra credits.
What is a seat?
A seat is one person in the workspace. The first is free; every seat after it is €39 a month and adds 900 AI credits to the shared pool.
People who are invited but have not joined yet also hold a seat, so an invitation always has a place to land. Add or remove seats from Team → Plan & credits; changes are prorated.
What are AI credits?
Credits are what the AI features run on. One credit is roughly one US cent of AI cost, so a quick question takes a few credits and a deep background check takes more.
Every AI feature draws from the same pool: questions, background and client checks, reading documents, reports, prospecting, briefings and generated pictures. The Plan & credits page shows what each person and each feature used.
Is the credit pool shared?
Yes. All the credits a workspace has go into one pool that everyone in it uses.
A team of five on Standard has 3,700 credits a month between them, so the people who use the AI most are not limited by a per-person allowance.
What happens when the credits run out?
The AI features pause until the pool refreshes next month, unless you add seats or buy extra credits. Everything else in Engine117 keeps working.
Owners and admins see how much is left at any time. Extra credits are €20 per 1,000, are used only once the month’s credits are gone, and last 12 months.
Do unused credits roll over?
The monthly credits refresh each month and do not roll over. Extra credits you buy are kept for 12 months.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Cancel from Manage billing; the plan runs to the end of the month you paid for, and the workspace then returns to the free seat.
Your data stays where it is. Payments are in advance and are not refunded for a partly used month, as set out in the Terms of Service.
Are prices including VAT?
No. Prices exclude VAT, which is added to the invoice where the law requires it.
Invoices are issued by Business117 OÜ, Tallinn, Estonia, and are available under Manage billing.
When is the Pro plan coming?
Pro is in the works for teams that want to hand whole processes to AI agents: business agents that run follow-ups, reporting and month-end from start to finish, acting across your connected tools with your approval. It also brings larger credit pools and priority support.
